Submitting Forms

Completed forms may be submitted either by email to mefcom@uwaterloo.ca, under the MEF Office door (MC 3013D) or in the MEF mailbox in the MathSoc Office (MC 3038).

Standard Funding Proposals

Funding proposals are accepted each term. The deadline for funding proposals is typically in the third month of the term. The deadline for Spring 2017 is TBD.

The funding proposals are also available in .PDF and .DOC formats. The application forms are available below, and may be submitted either in hard copy or via email.

Professional Development Fund

The Professional Development Fund finances students taking part in conferences, workshops, etc. Individual students may apply by filling out an application form and submitting the completed form. There is no deadline for submitting individual funding requests; however, if there is insufficient time to process the request the proposal may be deferred to the following term. Groups of students applying jointly to a conference should apply for funding using the standard funding proposal above.

NEW! Expense Claim Form

The Expense Claim Form should be filled out to apply for reimbursements incurred for approved funding proposals from previous terms. Please properly fill out the form and provide sufficient supporting documents. If you have any questions about how to apply for reimbursements, please send an email to mefcom@uwaterloo.ca.

Refunds

The refund period for Spring 2017 is May 1st, 2017 - May 19th, 2017 at 11:59PM. Please note that we are unable to refund contributions after this date and those made in prior or future terms.
